I understand what people need even when it isn't said. Reading between the lines — and acting on it — is the most important part of this work.
— Krishika Arora
Before Pinch
I worked as a psychologist, helping people understand their thoughts, emotions, and the root causes behind their challenges. What drew me to Pinch was a similar purpose in a different form: at its core, this work is also about understanding what someone really needs — often beneath what they've articulated — and creating the right conditions for them to feel genuinely supported.
How I work
To me, taking care of someone's home means understanding their vision and quietly bringing it to life. It's about aligning their expectations with thoughtful execution, being sensitive to the emotions attached to a space, and creating a home that feels seamless, balanced, and truly supportive of how they want to live.
My edge
Empathy. I intuitively understand what people need — even when it isn't explicitly said. By reading between the lines, I can anticipate preferences, respect unspoken boundaries, and deliver solutions that address the real need, not just the surface one.
A moment that matters
I supported a patron through her egg-freezing journey — a physically and emotionally demanding time. I stepped in to streamline everything around her: managing bills, coordinating medical paperwork, adapting her home environment to her changing needs. What made it meaningful wasn't the logistics — it was being present in a way that let her focus entirely on herself during something important.
Something people don't see
The invisible orchestration that holds a well-run home together. It's constant coordination, thoughtful prioritisation, and managing vendors, schedules, people, and emotions — all at once, and largely behind the scenes. Beyond logistics, it's the sensitivity to understand what truly matters to someone and act on it without being asked.
Off the clock
I use my Sundays the same way I work: with intention. I reset my own space — calm, balanced, organised — and let that quietness restore me. It's how I come back to the week ready to create the same ease for others.
