Right to Forget

1What the Right to Forget Means

Upon discontinuation of your Pinch membership, you may submit a formal request for us to delete your personal data from our systems. We refer to this as a Right to Forget request.

This right reflects our belief that the information you shared with us was given in the context of an active relationship. When that relationship ends, you should have the power to decide what happens to that information — and we should honour that decision.

Your data was given to us in trust. When you ask for it back — by asking us to delete it — we will honour that request to the fullest extent that the law permits.

2What We Will Delete

Upon receiving a valid Right to Forget request, Pinch will permanently delete the following categories of data from our active systems:

Household and personal profile data

• Your Home Operating Manual and all household-specific notes
• Lifestyle preferences, routines, and documented habits
• Information about household members, family details, and personal circumstances shared during your membership
• Vendor preferences and household-specific instructions
• Any other personal observations or notes recorded by your Lifestyle Manager in the course of serving your household

Service history and interaction records

• Detailed logs of tasks completed, service interactions, and communication history specific to your household
• Feedback, complaints, and service notes tied to your identity
• WhatsApp and communication records relating to your membership

Contact and account information

• Your name, contact details, email address, and residential address
• Login credentials and account data
• Any marketing preferences or consent records no longer required for legal compliance

3What We Are Required to Retain

Certain data must be retained regardless of a Right to Forget request, in order to comply with applicable Indian law and our contractual obligations. We will always tell you what we are retaining and why.

Financial and compliance records

• Invoice and payment records, including membership fees charged, GST collected, and refunds issued
• Transaction history required for accounting and tax compliance
• Records required under the Companies Act, GST legislation, or any other applicable regulatory framework

Legal and dispute records

• Records relevant to any ongoing or reasonably anticipated legal dispute, claim, or regulatory inquiry
• Documentation required to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights

These records are retained only for the period required by law or regulation, after which they are deleted in the ordinary course of our data management practices.

4Anonymised Data We Retain for Quality and Training

Pinch continuously works to improve the quality of its services — for current members, for new members, and for the Lifestyle Managers and vendors who serve them. To do this well, we may retain anonymised, aggregated data derived from service delivery patterns.

This data is stripped of all personal identifiers before retention. It cannot be linked back to you, and it will never be used to identify, contact, or profile you in any way.

The anonymised data we retain includes:

• Aggregated task data — categories of work completed, frequency, and seasonal patterns — used to improve service design and Lifestyle Manager training
• Vendor performance data — anonymised ratings, reliability records, and service quality observations — used to maintain and improve our vendor network
• Operational patterns — data used to understand how households use Pinch services, in aggregate, to inform our service architecture

None of this data contains your name, address, contact details, household identity, or any other information that could identify you. It is retained indefinitely in this anonymised form.

5How to Submit a Right to Forget Request

You may submit a Right to Forget request at any point after your Pinch membership has been discontinued. To do so:

• Write to us at support [at] pinch.co.in with the subject line: Right to Forget Request
• Include your full name, the email address associated with your Pinch account, and your approximate membership period
• Confirm that you are requesting deletion of your personal data under this policy

We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days of verification. We will send you a written confirmation once the deletion is complete.

6Data Held by Third Parties

In the course of delivering your services, we may have shared certain information with vetted vendors or technology partners. Upon receiving a Right to Forget request, we will:

• Notify our relevant service delivery partners to delete your personal data from their records
• Request confirmation of deletion from partners where this is operationally feasible

We cannot guarantee deletion from third-party systems in all cases, particularly where those parties have their own legal obligations to retain data. We will always be transparent with you about what we can and cannot control.

7Your Other Data Rights

The Right to Forget is one of several rights you hold in relation to your personal data. Even before discontinuing your membership, you may at any time:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Withdraw consent for specific processing activities
• Raise a concern or complaint about how your data has been handled
