I care about how things are done, not just whether they get done. Noticing things before they become problems — that's the difference.
— Shivani Meharwade
Before Pinch
I was a Customer Experience Executive at Inorbit Malls, responsible for ensuring every visitor had a seamless experience. The role was fast-paced, people-focused, and required constant attention to detail. Managing a household at the Pinch standard felt like a natural evolution of those instincts — applied somewhere far more personal.
How I work
Taking care of someone's home means creating a space that feels secure, comfortable, and effortlessly managed. It's not just about completing tasks — it's about understanding someone's lifestyle and preferences so well that things are handled the way they would want, often before they've had to ask.
My edge
Attention to detail combined with a genuinely proactive approach. In this work, noticing things before they become problems is what separates good service from excellent service. I care about how things are done, not just whether they get done.
A moment that matters
A patron had been struggling to sell a study table at a reasonable price despite multiple attempts. I stepped in, researched the right platforms, handled the listing and negotiation, and got a fair price for her quickly. It wasn't a complex task — but she'd been stuck on it for weeks, and resolving it meant one less thing on her mind.
Something people don't see
The level of planning, coordination, and anticipation that goes into making a home feel effortless. Behind every smooth day is a lot of quiet thinking, careful timing, and behind-the-scenes management that the client never has to see.
Off the clock
Slow and intentional. A little quiet time, some planning for the week, and then ease into the rest of the day. I find that Sundays set the tone for everything that follows.
